Leonard Cohen has revealed that his forthcoming new album will be entitled ‘Old Ideas’.
Set for release next year, the album will be the iconic singer-songwriter’s first studio album since 2004’s ‘Dear Heather’.
The album will be made up of ten previously unreleased songs, reports Twentyfourbit.com. “I’ve played it for a few people, and they seem to like it,” says Cohen of the record.
Earlier this month Cohen’s son Adam, who released his own LP ‘Like A Man’ earlier this year, confirmed that was working with his father in a "consultant capacity" on the album. Adam told BBC News that he had been joining his father in the studio. He said: "I was asked in some consultant capacity on a few occasions and I’m very happy to listen to what’s being created and be asked for my opinions."
