The Head and The Heart Announce Fall US Tour

The Head & The Heart will embark on their third and final headlining US tour this fall in support of their self-titled debut album. With recent appearances at Coachella, Sasquatch! Music Festival and current North American dates, the young Seattle band is looking forward to finishing out their summer tour with performances at The Newport Folk Festival in July and in front of a sold out crowd at Lollapalooza in August. The 2012 fall tour will run September 15th through October, starting with a hometown show at Seattle’s historic Paramount Theatre where the band will be featuring brand new songs, along with fan favorites from their 2011 full length release. The band will be joined by label-mates Blitzen Trapper and fellow Seattle artist Bryan John Appleby along the way. Complete list of dates provided below.

The Head & The Heart are also slated to make their 6th performance on national television with an outside stage performance at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on July 23. Other TV performances include Conan, LateNight with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with David Letterman and a special set on the legendary Austin City Limits music TV program.

The Head & The Heart are no strangers when it comes to putting on their own brand of memorable live shows, even when touring the world with seasoned acts like My Morning Jacket, Death Cab for Cutie and Iron & Wine. After building a very loyal following in Seattle, it’s no wonder that the same distinct sound that inspired their original Seattle fan base can still be heard at every The Head & The Heart show across the globe. Their unique approach of intimate shows, coupled with their universal appeal provides a personal experience for each of their fans. With their ever-expanding audience, this fall’s headlining tour is shaping up to be the most exciting tour yet.

The Head & The Heart have sold more than over 175, 000 albums with over 250,000 individual tracks sold. The album has reached No. 1 on 4 of Billboard’s regional Heatseekers album charts, No. 1 on the overall Heatseekers Albums and No. 4 on Folk Albums. The single “Lost In My Mind” spent 3 weeks at #1 at AAA, ahead of heavy hitters Adele and Foster The People.
