Akron/Family will hit the road this spring (list of tour dates is below) with a 4th musician enlisted for synth/percussion duties, M Geddes Gengras. Based in Los Angeles, Gengras recently released Test Leads on Holy Mountain and has collaborated with Sun Araw and The Congos last year on the critically-acclaimed Icon Give Thank. Gengras will also give solo performances prior to Akron/Family on the majority of the tour dates.
Akron/Family has confirmed a short tour with Avi Buffalo on the way to and from a performance at the Sasquatch Music Festival. The tour is in support of their upcoming album Sub Verses, out April 30th (29th in the UK) on Dead Oceans.
