Michele Clark’s Sunset Sessions, a music industry convention and talent showcase, is heading back to San Francisco on February 21, 2013 for the 16th Triple A Sunset Sessions, hosted by KFOG (The Grand Hyatt, Union Square). The event is a key opportunity for musicians and industry power players alike, introducing record labels, radio station programmers, music supervisors, managers, agents and others to emerging and established artists (This will mark the 19th Sunset Sessions event overall). The convention has been influential in the careers of numerous newer artists, including the Black Keys, Ryan Adams, Fun., Sia, Jack Johnson, James Blunt, Zac Browne Band, Grace Potter and Jason Mraz. Marquee names like Stevie Nicks, Richie Sambora, Lucinda Williams, Jewel, Third Eye Blind and Wayne Coyne also have participated in the event. February’s Sunset Sessions will be the 19th event in 16 years! The Record Academy partners with Sunset Sessions are onsite to meet with new artists and interview them. Sunset Sessions will give its first music industry awards this February to the leaders in the industry.
