SONG PREMIERE: The Roomsounds Roar & Swagger With Punctuating “Lightning”

Dallas rockers The Roomsounds, who are set to release their latest LP Good Company on October 15 know a thing or two about big hummable hooks and a classic rock fervor that rekindles Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers along with Cheap Trick. Mix in thick bleeding guitars and fat bottom beats, and this rock and roll swagger sure is missing in most of today’s music recipe. No pretentious twangs or glossy synthesizers and it’s 1978 all over again when listening to The Roomsounds.

The band now enters its second decade with this new batch of songs as  Good Company showcases the power and charisma of frontman Ryan Michael, who provides a swaggering relief to the by-gone days of true frontmen. Glide is premiering the robust rocker “Lightning” off Good Company that is a neon-lighted dive bar rocker that almost brings the taste of Miller Lite to your headphones. This formula is really what makes a band a career artist and The Roomsounds roar with the sounds of vinyl and classic rock prestige.

“This song is about a friends’ downward spiral of addiction. How it can happen so fast. You see the signs but maybe you’re in denial at first because it’s part of the “lifestyle” and everyone’s doing it. But then they’re doing it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They become isolated before you know it and are no longer fun to be around,” says the band.
