The band comment, “We’re so excited to announce our headline tour for 2022. It’s been a long two years since we’ve been able to play for crowds. Since then, we’ve started from scratch, traveled to our very core, studying and building our band back up to deliver a show that feels fresh and full of life. When creating Day/Night, we were imagining performing it on stage from the very beginning, arranging it like we would a performance in a theatre. We feel honored to now be able to realize this safely in person with all of you beautiful people at last. See you very soon.“
Parcels’ ambitious new Day/Night project is comprised of two self-contained albums, Day and Night, presenting 19 tracks in total, including the singles “Free,” “Comingback” and “Somethinggreater.” Produced by Parcels, with mixing courtesy of James Ford and string arrangements by Owen Pallett, the record is vast and cinematic in sound and layered lyrical themes, channeling western folk and classic pop, resulting in a new sound the band describes as “Cowboy Disco.” Pre-order the album HERE.
Parcels also announced a string of fall tour dates around the globe that sold out in minutes including a stop in Brooklyn, NY on November 19th at Music Hall of Williamsburg, along with shows in London (11/2), Paris (11/5) and Berlin (11/6).
