It’s always nice to hear what Santa Cruz multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Joe Kaplow is up to and his latest single, “Tunnel Vision”, with its accompanying live video is no exception. When most would call it a night (or morning), Kaplow and company decided to strike while the iron was hot after leaving a friend’s birthday party to create this Neil Young-esque gem of a living room folk-rocker.
“Back in January we went up to Marin for our friend Travis’ 30th birthday, and after a long, laughing night and a fuzzy morning, we shot this video in his and Tatiana’s home, the tiny house. We’ve been wanting to do this for awhile because as you can tell, it’s such a wonderful space. Our friend Ben who ran the camera and directed us around is the best in the biz. We hope you enjoy ‘Tunnel Vision’. This song will be on our upcoming record, out sometime this fall!”
“It was a little crammed, Jeff was resting his elbows on the kitchen sink, but such a beautiful space! We always play better when we’re as close as possible anyway,” adds Kaplow.
