For the first time in nearly a decade, the legendary Peter Gabriel returned to the live performance world after kicking off i/o The Tour earlier tonight in Poland. This show marks Gabriel’s first time performing live since 2016 and his first complete solo set since 2014. This massive tour supports Gabriel’s I/O LP, which is set to be released this year with two different versions of the title track available now. This upcoming album will mark the artist’s first full album of new material since 2002’s Up. With the pressure building up for his explosive comeback, Gabriel took the stage at the Tauron Arena in Krakow with a setlist that explores his past release while introducing new songs to his hungry fans.

Peter Gabriel put together a 23-song setlist for his big comeback at tonight’s show. The night was split up into two sets and an encore, each set bringing a mix of classic Gabriel and unheard music from the elusive artist. He started things off with classics like “Washing of the Water” and “Growing Up”, both songs were performed acoustically with Gabriel sitting while he comfortably strums out these old favorites. The rest of the set one was comprised of live debuts with Gabriel performing singles like “Four Kinds of Horses”, “Panopticom”, and the aforementioned “I/O” live for the first time since they were released. Gabriel also took time to perform some unreleased music, playing unheard songs that have been titled “Home”, “Olive Tree”, and “Road To Joy” to name a few. You can check out the full setlist below.

Peter Gabriel is hitting the ground running on his first tour in several years. The artist is starting out in Europe with upcoming shows in Italy, France, and Germany. In September, Gabriel will head to North America with shows starting out in Canada before he makes his way to the States for shows in select cities.
