Jennah Bell, a singer-songwriter originally from Oakland, California, and Claudio Olachea, a composer and producer originally from Rockville, Maryland, first forged their friendship while attending music school in Boston. After both moving to Los Angeles, where they continued to maintain their friendship inside and outside of the music space, Jennah and Claudio decided to come together to explore where their friendship could go sonically.

By the time Olachea enters, his voice is a welcome refrain, distorted and beautifully processed, fitting snugly into the organic meets electronic production. “Can You See It?” is chock full of optimism and vulnerability, an evocative channeling of interpersonal longing and eventual triumph.
During the writing process, we revisited conversations about navigating anxiety and relationships and that became the inspiration for the song. As a whole, the composition explores the spectrum of vulnerability through the lyrics, instrumentation, and vocal tone.”
