LISTEN: Tom A. Smith Drops Poignant Pop Flair On “Fading Away”

18-years-old, Sunderland-based Tom A. Smith played his first ever gig aged just eight, supporting local psychedelic rockers Detroit Social Club at legendary Newcastle venue The Cluny. Smith also performed at Glastonbury before he was even in high school, and Tim Burgess handpicked him to play his stage at Kendall Calling, making him the festival’s youngest-ever performer.

Check out the rock meets pop vibes of Tom A. Smith on new single “Fading Away”. The young Brit passionately ricochets off the track, bringing a concise and polished directive via crunchy guitar tone and explosive vocal design. “Fading Away” is approachable and firm in delivery in its pop-rock arrangement, as Smith possesses a confident and keen approach far beyond his years.

“I’ve never been more excited to release a song than this. The reaction it’s received live over the summer has been special. It’s my game changer.”
