Just days before his anticipated new album, the legendary Peter Gabriel releases “Live and Let Live”. This single will be the last before his expansive new LP, i/o releases this Friday, December 1. The 12-track album will feature two different mixes, “Bright-Side Mix” and “Dark-Side Mix” with the latter being handled by Tchad Blake and the Bright-Side being mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent. “Live and Let Live” was produced and written by Gabriel with each mix peeling back a different layer of his nuanced lyricism. It is also the last song Gabriel wrote for i/o

Gabriel has been sprinkling singles from i/o throughout the year, each new single lining up with every full moon of the year. Today (November 27) is the last full moon before December 1 and “Live and Let Live” acts as our final single. The new album will be Gabriel’s first full-length of new material in over twenty years. With a uniquely Peter Gabriel promotional route and the promise of two mind-altering mixes, the release of i/o on December 1 is a year’s worth of work coming together as one cohesive project from one of music’s most interesting figures.
