Nicholas Podany is a New York-based musician who performs his own vocals, as well as guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, ukulele, and mandolin. “I started writing this tune four years ago simply because I needed something to start the second episode of my web series, Lucids,” explains Podany. “I came up with it one night in the shower, thinking I wanted something out of John Lennon’s late solo career, something raw, all heart and no brain. And as soon as I started saying the words ‘And the Boogie too’ in a Liverpool accent, I knew I had a good song on my hands.”
