North Carolina’s Hopscotch Music Festival returns to downtown Raleigh for its fifteenth edition on September 4-6, 2025. Today, the Hopscotch team is thrilled to announce the initial lineup for this landmark year:
The City Plaza stage will be headlined by Louisville rock and roll mainstays My Morning Jacket, the abstract and cerebral rapper Earl Sweatshirt (playing his first NC show in six years), and eccentric art-pop originators Sparks (playing only their fourth show in NC since their 1971 inception). Over at the Moore Square stage, headliners are Boise’s beacon of independent rock Built to Spill, Montreal’s post-rock doomsayers Godspeed You! Black Emperor (returning to Hopscotch for the first time since 2015), and the kinetic psychedelia of Crumb. Supporting artists on these stages include legends like Unwound, Les Savy Fav (playing their first NC show since 2008), and Superchunk, as well as the most exciting new independent artists today like Nilüfer Yanya, Geordie Greep, YHWH Nailgun, as well as locals Fust, Blue Cactus and more.
