There were a lot of fans in the house anxiously awaiting Ice Cube’s gangsta’ vibe. They were not to be disappointed as he came out guns blazing on “Natural Born Killers”. He worked the stage masterfully with his partner in crime dividing the crowd against each another to determine which side the party was on. It was so good to see Cube in his element, looking very at home delivering his hardcore flow. His personality shown through during audience interaction and included some of the looks we’ve come accustomed to seeing on the big screen. Cube explored his days with NWA early in the set and a clear standout was his tribute to the late great Nate Dogg. His entire performance stayed at a high level and included plenty of fan favorites like “You Can Do It”.
