Sasquatch! has released its 2014 lineup holding true to its promise of two weekends with two separate bills.
Booking one weekend and repeating it, as Coachella does, is tough enough, but Sasquatch! has managed to pull big names for both May 23-25, its Memorial Day weekend first round, and July 4-6. It will be the first year the Washington festival, held at the Gorge, has expanded to a second weekend.
Among the first weekend’s highlights: reunited hip-hop duo OutKast, the National, Queens of the Stone Age, M.I.A., Foster the People (fresh off their Doug Fir gig), Kid Cudi, Haim, Neko Case, Foals, Major Lazer, Cut Copy, the Violent Femmes and Deafhaven
Other notables on the second weekend’s slightly more electro-heavy bill: Seattle grunge heroes Soundgarden; Broken Bells; Kraftwerk and their 3D concert experience; New Order (the lineup missing original bassist Peter Hook); Frank Ocean; Royksopp; Robyn; Neutral Milk Hotel; Spoon; Tegan and Sara; the Notwist; Kurt Vile and the Violators; with many more rock, hip-hop and electronic acts, as well as a handful of comedians on both weekends.
Tickets are on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
