Fuji Rock 2011: Widespread Panic, New Mastersounds, Wilco, Avetts and More

If there was one festival I could go to this summer regardless of my finances or accrued vacation time, I’d be hopping a plane to Japan for the Fuji Rock Festival. The lineup for this year’s event, which takes place at the Naeba Ski Resort from July 29 – 31, includes HT faves Widespread Panic, Wilco, The New Mastersounds, The Avett Brothers, Dark Star Orchestra, G. Love and Special Sauce, Cake and Beach House. As if that isn’t enough, the Mick Hucknall-fronted version of The Faces are also on the bill.

An english version of the Fuji Rock site lists all sorts of ticket packages including a “Moon Caravan” package that allows you to camp with your car.
