60’s Rockers Moby Grape Plans Fillmore Comeback

After winning a protracted court battle and subsequent appeal that stretched out over three decades, legendary ’60s rock band Moby Grape has reportedly been busy rehearsing.   The freshly resurrected Grape will give its debut performance at San Francisco’s Fillmore on January 12.

Moby Grape’s reformed line up includes original members Peter Lewis, Jerry Miller, Bob Mosley, and Don Stevenson. The late Skip Spence, who lost a battle with lung cancer in 1999, will be replaced by his son, Omar.  The group will also feature Aynsley Dunbar and Pete Sears, both of whom played with Jefferson Starship, and have close ties to the band and the San Francisco music scene.
