Rage Against the Machine Co-Headlining Vegoose

Rage Against The Machine will be one of the headliners at the third annual Vegoose Music Festival, Billboard.com has learned. The event is set for Oct. 27-28 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

Vegoose is produced by Superfly Presents and A.C. Entertainment, the same team that produces the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tenn. Vegooose producers declined to comment on specific artists booked for this year’s show, but did say an official lineup will be announced in mid-July.

"We’re very excited about the lineup and thrilled to be bringing Vegoose back to Vegas for a third year," says Superfly president Jonathan Mayers.

The Vegoose appearance will be one of only a handful of live dates for Rage this year. The band played the Coachella festival in Indio, Calif., in April, and is set to play a one-off date at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wis., on Aug. 24 with Queens Of The Stone Age.

A July 28-29 run with the Rock the Bells tour at New York’s Randall’s Island and an Oct. 27 headlining performance at New Orleans’ Voodoo Music Experience are also on tap.
