Philadelphia-based quirky blues rockers, Thee Idea Men, will release brand new album New Level Shoes on May 20th, and are streaming it exclusively with Glide (below). Thee Idea Men is the product of a senior year school project between the collaboration of lead singer and guitarist, Matthew Jurasek, and fellow Drexel University student and current drummer, Tyler March. With the addition of rhythm guitarist, Matthew Raspanti, and bassist, Kris Pirnat, the quartet harnesses a sound reminiscent of old school rock n’ roll for the new ages. Like fellow Philly psych/soul rockers Dr. Dog and Man Man, Thee Idea Men are able to mix energetic barroom rock ‘n’ roll with a taste of the revamped blues of Jack White’s various projects.
