Ben Folds has teamed with iTunes for an innovative new program, "The Sounds of Last Night … This Morning," in which the singer/songwriter’s live recordings will be available for purchase almost immediately via the digital retail giant.
During his current North American tour, a live track from 10 different cities will be available the morning after the show.
Each will come with original cover art made by Folds with Apple’s Photo Booth program. Once the tour is completed, the tracks will be compiled for a live album, available exclusively on iTunes. Fans who purchase one track at a time will be able to buy the full album at a reduced price.
Folds recently collaborated with iTunes for the release of his new album, "Way to Normal," with fans who pre-ordered via the service receiving two advance tracks.
