Alabama Shakes, Courtney Barnett, My Morning Jacket, Tame Impala, Wilco Make Grammy Nominee List

The nominations for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards was announced today as these nominations across all 83 categories were announced via a press release and were made available on Grammy.com. The Grammys return to L.A.’s Staples Center on Feb. 15, 2016, and will be broadcast in high-definition and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8–11:30 p.m. ET. With lots of obvious picks in major categories that include Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine and other pop stars, there are of course many other important nominees that don’t make the televised portion of the show. Artists of interest to Glide that were nominate include Alabama Shakes, Courtney Barnett, Jason Isbell, Punch Brothers, Patty Griffin, Death Cab for Cutie.
