As we continue to mourn the death of David Bowie, it was 39 years ago today (1/14/77), that Bowie released Low, perhaps his most critically acclaimed, influential and enjoyable listens. Co-produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti., Low was the first of three collaborations with Brian Eno termed the “Berlin Trilogy”. The experimental, avant-garde style would be further explored on “Heroes” and Lodger. Watch Bowie perform “Always Crashing in the Same Car” off Low live in 1997.
