Happy 50th birthday today to John Popper of Blues Traveler who was born on 3/29/67. The Blues Traveler frontman and harmonica guru has had quite the career as he conceived the HORDE Festival, which helped spawn the later day jam band movement to prominence in the 90’s. Popper remains prolific as Blues Traveler continues to tour and record yearly. Watch Blues Traveler perform on the ’95 HORDE tour at Shoreline Ampitheater with the late Bobby Sheehan on bass.
