Happy 75th birthday today to Pete Townshend of The Who (born on 5/19/45)Townshend has brought his windmill and proto-punk guitar style to the forefront of rock in the mid 60’s and composing one of rock’s most enduring catalogs, including 2019’s Who, one of rock’s strongest late-career albums. To celebrate Pete’s 75th, here is with Roger, John and Keith at Houston’s The Summit in 1975.
