The Low Anthem announces new US headlining dates for September and October 2011 in support of their latest album, Smart Flesh (Nonesuch). The band will also rejoin Iron & Wine on October 13 to open their show at Terminal 5 in New York.
Before heading out in the fall, the band returns to Newport Folk Festival to host an intimate backstage fundraising performance on July 30. They also play a series of festivals overseas then close out the summer with LouFest in St. Louis and the Dave Matthews Band Caravan in George, WA over Labor Day weekend.
