Happy 60th birthday today to Tim Reynolds who was born on 12/15/57. Reynolds is a multi-instrumentalist known as both a solo artist and as a lead guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band and is renowned for the Dave & Tim shows the duo play outside from the full on Dave Matthews Band. Reynolds’ name first came to familiarity when he and Matthews embarked on their first full tour together as a duo leading to the release of Live at Luther College. In 2008 Reynolds became a full-time member of the band, which serves him well since it was him who encouraged a young bartending Dave Matthews to record music and start a band of his own.
