For the past decade, UTOPiAfest has forged a niche of its own, and achieved national recognition in the expansive festival landscape. A loyal, dedicated family has emerged out of the shared love of music, community, and the outdoors. It was built on a foundation of valuing quality over quantity, a family oriented environment, and equal respect and treatment of each attendee, from volunteer to headliner. We are now excited to announce the next chapter of UTOPiAfest: UTOPiAfest Down In The Oaks.
After months of speculation and intrigue, UTOPiAfest Down In The Oaks is excited to announce it will take place on a privately owned ranch near Burnet, TX. It consists of four vast, majestic wide open fields, enriched by numerous ancient oak, elm, and pecan tree groves. The land is rejuvenated by a natural spring river fork and ponds throughout. The space is comfortably secluded, with the same clear view of the Texas night sky.
Down In The Oaks Entertainment, is excited to integrate its decades worth of Event Production, Branding, Marketing, Sponsorship, and Public Relations expertise, along with their vast network of top tier industry professionals, into creating the new era of UTOPiAfest Down In the Oaks. UTOPiAfest Down in the Oaks promises incredible growth potential, that will expand the core UTOPiAn vision as the premier, intimate, destination camping experience in the nation.

The tenth iteration of the festival will feature a lineup of world class artists, that include STS9, Patty Griffin and Lukas Nelson headlining the weekend, along with a strong showing of some of Austin’s best up and comers.
The production is lead by founder Travis Sutherland with longtime UTOPiAn producers, and Down In The Oaks partners Patrick Harrison, Brandon Harrison, and Jeff Dena.
With an Austin based core demographic, and an aim to reach a worldwide audience, the UTOPiAfest Down In The Oaks team is excited to bring home the experience to the Live Music Capital of the World.
