20 years ago today (10/31/98) at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, NC Phish covered The Velvet Underground’s Loaded during their second set. It marked the fourth Halloween show in which Phish dressed up in a “musical costume” by performing an album from another artist in its entirety. From that very performance “Rock and Roll” would later become a regular staple in the band’s rotation.
