This past weekend certainly saw its share of two legendary meetups on stage between two pairs of rock icons that are long overdue for performance reunions.
Bob Dylan and Neil Young closed their co-headlining show on July 14th at Ireland’s Nowlan Park with a joint rendition of “Will The Circle Be Unbroken.” This marked the first time the two have performed together in 25 years, since a show at New York’s Roseland Ballroom in 1994.
And on Saturday night, July 13th at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, Paul McCartney invited fellow Beatle Ringo Starr up to perform “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)” before moving into “Helter Skelter”.’
