40 Years Ago Today – Led Zeppelin Release Final Studio LP ‘In Through The Out Door’ (Listen to “”Carouselambra”)

40 years ago today (8/15/79), Led Zeppelin released their eighth and final studio LP In Through The Out Door. The LP was recorded over a three-week period in November and December 1978 at ABBA’s Polar Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. The album features a large presence of contributions from bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones and vocalist Robert Plant on this go-around in terms of songwriting and lead instruments. Check out “Carouselambra” which features dominate utilization of John Paul Jones’ synthesizers…
