REPORT: Genesis To Reunite For UK Shows

It has been reported by Britain’s The Sun that Genesis will perform in multiple arenas across the UK in November and December with tickets going on sale later this month. This will be the first tour for their band since their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 and their first tour since 2007’s Turn It On Again Tour. The tour will feature original members Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford along with almost original member Phil Collins (1970). Peter Gabriel, who left the band following 1975’s Lamb Lies Down on Broadway will not be taking part reportedly, but it’s assumed that longtime touring members Chester Thompson (drums) and Daryl Stuermer (guitar) will be lending their chops to the Genesis catalog. Collins has toured the past couple years playing his solo material with aid of a chair due to back issues

The group hinted at the news yesterday by posting a photo on their official Instagram account with the caption: “And then there were three.”
