30 years ago today (7/30/90), Boston power poppers The Cavedogs released their highly underrated and under the radar masterpiece Joy Rides for Shut-Ins. While honing their own sounds of sweet and seductive jangly harmonies and hard-edged rhythms, The Cavedogs might be one of the best bands you never heard.
