Happy 50th birthday today to Susan Tedeschi (born 11/9/70), wife and musical partner to Derek Trucks and a premiere vocalist and guitarist herself. Tedeschi released her debut album, Better Days, in the fall of 1995 and the Massachusetts native found her inspiration from gospel choirs and blues, engrossing herself in guitar and leading Tedeschi Trucks Band as one of rock’s most musically adventurous musical troupes.
