LISTEN: Josh Fudge Displays Tonal Soul & Soundness On Catchy “There She Goes”

Josh Fudge is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Oklahoma City. In March of 2020Fudge started releasing music on the internet independently, and by surprise he quickly found himself landing on numerous high-profile playlists. His debut record is expected to release early next year.

Fudge delivers with an uncomplicated serenity on “There She Goes,” a delightful and beguiling new break up song. Layered with dreamy synthesizers and tasteful keyboard twinklings, Fudge bridges the pain of a break up with a sense of tranquil okayness. Like Josh Rouse and Mayer Hawthorne, displaying tonal sensitivity and a sharp sense of tempo, Fudge creates a comfortable and sonically cavernous world for us to occupy while we confront the sadness of saying goodbye.

“I wrote this song after long time partner and I  separated. It details the struggle of parting ways with someone you have known for a long time. The whole tune is my internal monologue of trying to figure out why things are changing and trying to accept them, all while being forced to just watch her walk away. There She Goes is going to be a part of the album I am releasing in January of 2021. It is an album about leaving everything I know and moving on to a new chapter, and I genuinely cannot wait to share it with the world,” says Fudge.
