One year ago today (10/6/20), the great Eddie Van Halen lost his battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 65. Through his tapping technique, tone, or all-around brilliancy, Eddie could do it all and for a period of time, there was no bigger rock band in the world than Van Halen. Eddie’s contributions to pedals, amplifiers and even his keyboard work were considered groundbreaking and helped fire-start an industry in itself.
