Eggcorn is the musical moniker of Lara Hoffman and refers to a word or phrase that sounds like and is mistaken for another word or phrase. The name arose from Lara’s love of wordplay, of the way singing words morph their pronunciation, and of alternate lyrics misheard by the listener.
