LISTEN: Goldpark Unleashes Unabased Alt Pop On “I Guess It’s Never Enough”

The Nashville trio Goldpark emerged from the ashes of the pandemic and landed on their feet after a year of touring with a triumphant new unabashed pop single “I Guess It’s Never Enough”. While the song’s themes tackle dealing with humanity’s undesirable traits, the slick production and endearing hooks provide just the right counterweight to leave listeners with a sense of head-bobbing optimism. Their upcoming sophomore EP Goldpark Two is due out later this year.

‘I Guess It’s Never Enough’ was written in direct response to hearing that someone from my hometown was using, let’s say, “colorful” language, to describe me. In the spirit of not fighting fire with more fire, I won’t disclose the situation or those involved here. Even though the song was born from a personal (very specific) instance, I hope that the chorus can be used as a declaration of freedom from the fear of what others think of you. This is the stuff rock & roll is built on and I hope you can feel that when you listen,” says vocalist Wes Hunter.
