30 years ago today (4/12/93), David Gray released his debut album A Century Ends. Released during the onset of Brit Pop, Gray took a different turn as his songwriting was more rooted in the works of Van Morrison, John Martin, and Nick Drake vs his glammy counterparts. A Century Ends was re-released in July 2001 after Gray hit the big time with White Ladder in 2000/2001. Time to revisit the debut in full….
