30 years ago today (1/15/94), singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson died in his sleep of heart failure at the ae of 52 after spending the previous day in the recording studio. He recorded ‘Everybody’s Talkin’ from the film Midnight Cowboy and wrote hits for Three Dog Night and The Monkees. His most commercially successful album, Nilsson Schmilsson (1971), produced the international top 10 singles “Without You” and “Coconut”.
