30 years ago today (6/6/95), Primus released their fourth studio album Tales From The Punchbowl. This would serve as the last album to feature their classic lineup (Les Claypool, Larry “Ler” LaLonde, and Tim “Herb” Alexander) until their reunion in 2003. Driven by Les Claypool’s distinguished bass playing and oddball vocals, Tales served as a whimsical departure from the dark nature of 1993’s Pork Soda. Watch Primus go C&W in this classic video for “Wynonna’s Big Brown Beaver..”
