Multi-platinum recording artist Jack Johnson announces the release of his 6th studio album, From Here to Now to You, out September 17 through Johnson’s own Brushfire Records. The album’s first single, “I Got You” hits the air waves today and is now available to purchase on iTunes alongside a full album pre-order at http://smarturl.it/
From Here to Now to You was recorded in Hawaii at Johnson’s Mango Tree Studio and produced by Mario Caldato, Jr. who produced Johnson’s biggest selling album, In Between Dreams, as well as albums by Beastie Boys, Super Furry Animals, Seu Jorge and more. The album marks the first set of brand new original songs since Johnson’s 2010 To The Sea album.
Later this month, Johnson will preview songs from the new album with acoustic, invite only, shows in New York and London. Fans can register to win select spots on the guest list by visiting http://jackjohnsonmusic.com/tour. Winners will be selected by June 11th.
Jack will return to London twice in September where he will appear on the 8th at BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, and on the 16th at the iTunes Festival. A worldwide audience will be able to stream a live, full band performance of songs from the new album, and favorites from his catalog, which has sold over 19 million copies worldwide. A full US tour will be announced soon.
