The Warren Haynes Band makes its New York City debut on May 12 at the Beacon Theatre, two days after the release of Warren’s soul-laden Man In Motion LP. For the group’s initial NYC appearance they will be joined by legendary Stax artist William Bell. Bell is known as one of the architects of the Stax-Volt sound that has clearly influenced Haynes’ latest musical direction. Next up for Warren’s group is a set at the Wanee Festival tomorrow.
