Ryan Adams & The Cardinals Book 12 City Tour

Alt-country rocker Ryan Adams has booked a 12-city summer tour with this band the Cardinals, culminating with a stop at this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.

The itinerary includes a return visit to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, where in 2002, Adams became incensed when a fan shouted a request for similarly named rock act Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ’69.”

Tomorrow (June 23), the Cardinals will be in action at two separate warm-up shows: as part of the Benefit for Arthur Lee at New York’s Beacon Theatre and starting after midnight at the intimate Bowery Ballroom.

After releasing three separate studio albums last year, Adams has yet to reveal his next recording project.
