The line-up for the 7th annual Recipe Family Cookout has been announced. The festival will take place August 19-21 at The Church of Universal Love and Music in Acme, PA. Artists performing include The Recipe (headlining both nights), Sam Bush Band, John Brown’s Body, Davisson Brothers Band, Burning River Band, Grasshopper Pie, BUMP, Gongzilla, ZEN, Tar Beach, Midnight Spaghetti & the Chocolate G-Strings.
The Recipe is inviting its fans to help support the Connellsville Community Ministry Food Bank at its Family Cookout. Festivalgoers may bring canned food or dry goods which will then support the area community. Nicknamed the Huff ‘n Puff Bowl, which contrary to your first guess, is a football game featuring the Recipe’s fans taking on the band. This year will mark the 7th annual Porch Bowl Football game, which will be held at Noon on Sunday August 21. Those wishing to sign-up for the game, may do so via the group’s web site.
