After being asked by the remaining Beatles, Ringo and Paul along with Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison, to make experimental mixes from the original master tapes for a collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, Sir George Martin, The Beatles legendary producer, and his son Giles Martin have been working with the entire archive of Beatles recordings to create “Love.” The result is an unprecedented approach to the music. Irish Singer/songwriter Damien Rice has set a Nov. 14 release date for his sophomore effort, “9.” To be issued on Vector/Warner Brothers and Rice’s own music imprint Heffa, the 10-track set is the follow-up to 2003’s “O.”

Rice recorded and produced “9” himself and also created the album’s artwork. A handful of new tracks were previewed during a stint opening for Fiona Apple this summer.

The Slip have signed to the acclaimed Bar/None Records (Architecture in Helsinki, Evan Dando, Yo La Tengo, They Might Be Giants) – and will be releasing their new studio album ‘Eisenhower’ into the world on Nov. 7th with the warm fuzzy pride of new parents. The Rhythm Devils have just confirmed that Jen Durkin will join the group on their upcoming trek in October. Jen aka Pipes will lead the group through new originals such as ‘Fountains of Wood’ and ‘The Center’ as well as the Grateful Dead songbook. The Rhythm Devils which consist of Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Mike Gordon, and Steve Kimock have also launched a new website – rhythmdevils.net – where fans can find mp3’s of the new songs and a version of “The Other One” from the August run with Mike Gordon on vocals.

Their fall run kicks off in Harrisburg on October 17.
