Bonnaroo Tickets Sell Out

Bonnaroo has once again sold out in advance, with 80,000 tickets sold entirely through the festival’s Web site. Set to take place this weekend, the three-day camping and music festival will once again be held on the same 700-plus-acre farm in Manchester, Tenn., 60 miles southeast of Nashville.

Along with headliners Radiohead, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Phil Lesh and Friends, Bonnaroo will present well over 100 acts on its nine stages. In addition to its music lineup, non-music attractions like a cinema, a comedy tent and an onsite beer festival will be available 24 hours a day.

Snow Patrol Postpones Entire U.S. Tour

Snow Patrol has postponed all of its planned US summer tour dates due to frontman Gary Lightbody’s ongoing throat problems. According to a press release, a doctor has instructed Lightbody not to sing again until mid-July.

The band is currently rescheduling all of its dates for September. A firm itinerary is expected by next week.

Roots, Rock, Reggae Fest To Include Ziggy and Bunny Wailer

Bunny Wailer, the reggae legend who was one of the original Wailers along with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, will tour for the first time with a new generation of Marleys.
Wailer will play alongside Marley’s sons, Stephen and Ziggy, on the Roots, Rock, Reggae Festival, a month-long tour that opens Aug. 6 in Redway, Calif., after a year hiatus.

Stephen Marley, 34, will headline the tour, which will make stops including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Boston and Philadelphia. Ziggy Marley, 37, will also perform, as will the group Ozomatli.
Wailer, who last released the album Communication in 2000, is the lone surviving member of the Wailers. Marley died of cancer in 1981; Tosh was murdered in 1987.

Vegoose ’06 Is On – Halloween In Vegas

Vegoose.com has announced the dates of this year’s event. Moving to a weeklong festival, this year shows will take place starting October 27th and running straight through Halloween.

Details on headliners and a full artist line-up have not yet been revealed.

The debut event last year held at Sam Boyd Stadium included Dave Matthews and Friends, Widespread Panic, Jack Johnson, Beck, Phil Lesh and many others.
