Pete Yorn/Ben Kweller: Howlin

Despite being “sicker than a dog”, Pete Yorn pulled himself up by his bootstraps and gave 120 percent without ever blinking an eye nor giving in to whatever illness was ailing him on this steamy hot night in a packed-house old venue that is beloved by many in the Crescent City. The Debut of Instant Feedback and Rogue Wave’s Twitter War w/ We The Kings

One of the prevailing characteristics of Twitter is its immediacy – a simple tweet or retweet and nearly anything can go viral. In a different sort of twist to getting instant feedback on Twitter, Californian indie rockers Rogue Wave found themselves in Cleveland ready to play the Springfest at Case Western Reserve University, but without any instruments due to an airline losing their luggage. The band allegedly asked headliners We The Kings to borrow gear, to which We The Kings allegedly refused. Rogue Wave then took to @roguewaveband to ask their fans for some instant feedback on We The Kings. READ ON for more on this Twitter war…
