10 years ago today (11/30/12), Glen Campbell, The Rhinestone Cowboy, performed his last live show following his Alzheimers diagnosis which resulted in an almost two-year farewell tour. In one of the most courageous tours of all time, crowds got to see the country legend perform his heartfelt hits one last time and while his memory wasn’t what it was, his voice sounded strong and admirable and his guitar playing was still that of a legend. While his last show in Napa, CA might not be worth revisiting for perfect renditions, let’s go to this perfect version of “Wichita Lineman” featuring the song’s writer Glen Campbell.
