10 years ago today (10/18/11), M83 released the outstanding Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, the sixth studio album by French electronic music outfit led by Anthony Gonzales. M83 always was more band than EMD DJ, as they honed the electronic compositional flair of Air with the nostalgic nods of Daft Punk. “Midnight City” remains a go-to stadium anthem, while the rest of the recording provides rhythmic flow with strong peaks and valleys.
