25 Years Ago Today – The Chemical Brothers Release Influential Second LP ‘Dig Your Own Hole’

25 years ago today (4/7/97), The Chemical Brothers released their second studio album Dig Your Own Hole – and one that played a huge part in the late 90’s electronic or then called “techno” music scene. Singles like “Block Rockin’ Beats,” “Elektrobank,” and “Setting Sun” merged pop and rock themes with electronic samples that covered grounds previously rarely unheard to the mainstream.
